OUR ENVIROMENT
Kittery Climate Action Now (KCAN) is a new grassroots organization focused on making our community more sustainable and resilient to climate change.

The Kittery Land Trust is a member supported local non-profit organization led by a group of volunteers committed to conserving special places and vital natural resources in Kittery for current and future generations.

Tides of Life gives back. Help them keep our beautiful Maine beaches clean. Seapoint and Cresent Beach clean-ups are conducted monthly on a Saturday morning from 9am-11am and support Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation.

NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS
Fuel & More helps those having trouble paying for heat, but don’t qualify for town assistance. They assist our Kittery neighbors with: heating fuel (kerosene, oil, propane), wood pellets/cord wood, electric heat, resources, support & more.

Footprints is working towards eradicating food insecurity in our community and looking at ways to provide individuals support in all areas of their lives through collaboration with other community service agencies in order to best meet all needs of each individual and family.

Fair Tide develops and owns deeply-affordable, permanent housing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Their mission is to reduce homelessness by providing housing and supportive services to individuals and families in the Seacoast.

FOOD AND FUN
You can visit the market every Sunday, June 4th – November 19th, for a fun day of shopping with live music, special guests, over 30 vendors, produce, prepared foods, and artisan crafts. They also host kid’s activities and support local nonprofits such as Fair Tide and Footprints Food Pantry.

Kick off Summer in June at the Kittery Block Party! Celebrate the finest from the Seacoast, including restaurants, artists, artisans, local farmers, non-profits, bands, entertainers and some darn good people watching.

The Kittery Community Center hosts a multitude of programs, classes, and events for people of all ages and the enrichment of their lives. Here, fitness programs, athletic opportunities, arts and crafts classes, and various cultural activities are made accessible, and they’re dedicated to bringing in more of what the community asks for.
